The Case of the Silk Stocking Sketches | by idiom
I watched this movie TWICE in May, it’s so good. I highly recommend it.
I have a midterm on Monday, why is this how I’m spending my time?! XD
I’m going to sketch from another movie soon, but I’ll try to focus on bodies next time. I think I’ve got faces down LOL
Although my perception of it is pretty messed up because of Fassy (Fassys!
omg there are two of them can I have one?). I shouldn’t root for a psychotic fetishist and his twin brother, should I? So my watching of this movie looked a bit like this:“OMG, Fassy!”
“^__^”
“What a nice suit!”
“Miiiichael!”
I’m kind of hopelessly addicted to that movie. I saw it in 2004 and loved the villain(s) even though his smile scared the hell out of me. And now that’s pretty much multiplied by a thousand. <3 Even though as far as Holmes adaptations go, it’s not exactly perfect, but… askfjgh FEELS. And gorgeous Fass.
I know! It was… weirdly touching, the relationship between two Fassys. The good (well, “better”) twin let Lestrade beat and kick him and didn’t say a word about his brother, and the killer… Sherlock Holmes guessed right in the final scene that the only thing that could stop the psychotic twin was the though that he would never see his brother again… And that scene when the beaten up twin crawls on the prison floor and sings the same song that his brother sings at the same moment miles and miles away..? Awesome!
Just watched it for the first time this week. ADSFA;LDFA;LFDJALF
It was perfection.
It also made me realize that I’ve been mentally mispronouncing Lestrade my entire life. lol (well, more like that there is more than one way to pronounce it I guess)
I want to
torturepresent you withmy condolencesa brand new russian Sherlock Holmes, which is currently filming in my distressful city.
Because she didn’t matter. Not that she really didn’t matter, but essentially it’s that she didn’t. No one considered her Sherlock’s ‘Friend’, so when a gunmen were lined up waiting to assassinate his “only three friends”… Molly wasn’t one of them. Because she didn’t matter.
But she did. She was safe to help Sherlock with his plan… and no one would suspect her…
Because she didn’t matter.
… maybe they both made lists of their top five.
Like celebs they’re allowed to get off with even though they’re in relationships.
Do you think that maybe they were both on each other’s lists?

Great actors can express so much with their eyes. They don’t need to move or speak for you to know what their character is thinking, or feeling. Their character is in their eyes.
Now, look at Benny’s eyes.
I see Sherlock Holmes, don’t you?
WEIRD I never noticed he has a bit of Iris coloboma in is right eye :D Neat!
